About

The same work, through different systems.

A career shaped by relationships, complexity, and the judgment to connect the two.

I've worked inside very different systems, from high-volume digital delivery to licensed brokerage, but the work underneath has stayed consistent: learn how a complex system works, identify what is actually going wrong, and explain a clear path forward.

At Charles Schwab, I supported brokerage and financial-service needs ranging from routine questions to complicated account and transaction problems. Resolving them often meant reconstructing account history, researching details and documentation, weighing regulatory and operational constraints, and coordinating specialized teams without losing the thread of the client's experience.

Earlier, web development taught me to operate in ambiguity at scale. I worked across hundreds of projects, coordinated distributed technical teams, and built processes for delivering reliable work across a broad technical stack. In both fields, I've found the work most worthwhile when careful investigation and clear communication help someone genuinely understand a complicated issue.

Experience

A multidisciplinary professional path.

Finance is the present focus. Technology, business, and client leadership are the foundation beneath it.

Beyond work

A life with room for inquiry.

Away from professional systems, I'm usually reading philosophy or psychology, training at the gym, caring for plants, feeding wild birds, studying Japanese, or watching film. I'm especially drawn to science fiction that uses speculative worlds to explore ethics, leadership, identity, psychology, and the consequences of individual choices.
